After more than 50 years in the professional game, involved at the top level as a player, coach and now broadcaster, David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd has come a long way since he took his first steps up the cricketing ladder as a teenager playing for Accrington CC. He’s seen a few things in his time and it’s not always been pretty, whether it was watching the Aussie ball-tampering story develop or looking down after he’d been hit a painful blow by Jeff Thomson.
